Description
Why do stories matter so much? It’s. what. we. do! Stories are a fundamental part of how we communicate; personal stories and gossip make up 65% of our conversations. We use stories to make sense of our world and to share that understanding with others. We do this because it’s fundamentally how our brains work. If you’re not putting the power of story to work on behalf of your cause, it’s time to get started.
Crafting Stories for your Cause

We can use stories to demystify complex concepts, and to engage, persuade, or inspire people who have a vested interest in our work. That said, we need to be both thoughtful and strategic in identifying the stories we should be telling. And to ensure our stories make their intended impact, it’s important to be clear who needs to hear them.
This webinar will share strategies to help you find and craft the stories your organization needs to be telling. Using what you learn, you’ll be equipped with tools and resources to confidently convey why stories matter, solicit stories from your internal and external communities, frame these stories in a compelling way, and cultivate a culture of storytelling within your organization.
All participants will receive: instructions to access the live webinar, preparation tips to make the most of the live call, a recording of live event, and a mini action kit that includes helpful resources to help you put what you learn into practice.
Advance registration is required.
