As a Communications Support + Coaching client, we’ll work together for a few hours each month in the following ways:
Content Planning + Review
We’ll meet in person or remotely–based on your preference–to map out upcoming communications needs and opportunities, and reflect on the previous month’s efforts. This work looks somewhat different for each client, but typically includes some of the following activities:
- populate (or update) a content calendar
- strategize how best to re-purpose content across different channels
- identify opportunities to automate the delivery of content
- explore ways to monitor and evaluate communications effort and effectiveness
- review any agreed-upon metrics, assess progress, and–when needed–discuss any adjustments to planned activities
Capacity Building + Coaching
This element may take the form of mini in-person training workshops, one-to-one web conference calls, written reference materials or templates, recommended reading, and/or customized self-learning kits, with the goal to:
- develop or strengthen communications skills, competencies, and confidence
- address technical or ‘how to’ questions related to communications tools
- advise on the development of social media policies
- provide insights into emerging sector trends and practices
Additional Support (as time permits)
While the activities above should be considered our primary focus, from time to time, we can also direct some of our attention to other activities such as:
- a brainstorming or ideation session
- copy editing of communications materials
- crafting effective outreach activities
- an audit of your organization’s website or social networks
Investment
Starts at $1,000 month; minimum six month commitment.
