This week I launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo and YOU are invited to be part of it! If we reach our goal, it will cover the costs to develop and print a planning notebook to guide nonprofits in using social media strategically.

The step-by-step framework that will be presented in the notebook is inspired by a decade of lessons learned from using social media to attract volunteers, build community-powered projects, and engage diverse coalitions from across public and private sectors.
As a friend and reader, please consider a contribution of $20 to this campaign! This will ensure that you’ll receive a copy of the final product which you can share with a colleague if it’s not something you need for your own use. And of course, you can also opt-out of any of the campaign perks and simply make an outright contribution of any amount—it ALL helps move this project towards the finish line and contributes to the collective social proof that a broad group of backers demonstrates to potential contributors who aren’t already acquainted with me or my work.
And of course, if you believe in this potential of this project but prefer an alternate means of showing your support, you can also:
• share the campaign—via email or social media—with folks in your network who might benefit from it
• review the campaign brief on Indiegogo and send me your suggestions to strengthen the campaign
If you have any other feedback or if there is anything else you’re curious to know, please share your thoughts below! In the meantime, I’ll be compiling the lessons learned from launching this campaign to share in a future blog post.
