I’ve been overwhelmed with the positive response to my announcement a couple of weeks ago about retiring my consulting services after a decade in business, and pausing the Comms For Causes membership. While my focus for the first quarter of 2023 is launching Content Hero, I’ve been trying to think of a way to show my appreciation and have decided to host a free challenge this month that will culminate in a live strategy session for those who participate.
Content Crafting for Causes
This opportunity borrows from and blends together two frameworks for social media content development: last year’s free challenge and the Strategic Social Content System workshop that was rescheduled then cancelled due to my caregiving commitments. I want to help you kick off 2023 with less stress and disappointment and more ease and FUN when it comes to crafting content.
Who is this for?
This one-week challenge is designed especially for folks who help to create content for social media on behalf of a nonprofit or cause. Regardless of your affiliation (paid or volunteer), job title, or role within an organization, participating will help you identify the most relevant, engaging, and helpful types of content that you can share with your audience, and help you to commit time on your calendar to kick-start your post creation and stay consistent in the future.
What to expect
The challenge will consist of five self-directed activities shared via email and culminate in a live strategy session for anyone interested to ask questions, get support, or celebrate their progress.
The challenge will start on Friday, Jan. 6 and end on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023. Here’s the schedule:
- Friday, Jan. 6 – email #1
- Monday, Jan. 9 – email #2
- Tuesday, Jan. 10 – email #3
- Wednesday, Jan. 11 – email #4
- Thursday, Jan. 12 – email #5
- Friday, Jan. 13 – live strategy session (11AM HST, 1PM PST, 4PM EST)
Each email will include a bit-sized action step and accompanying worksheet that can be completed in as little as 15-30 minutes. By the end of the week, you’ll have a suite of strategies to revisit in the future that help you:
- identify the most relevant + engaging content to share with your audience
- kick-start your content creation and stay consistent in the future
- adopt techniques and select tools to systematize your process
My pledge to you
While the resources shared can be completed at any time, those who set aside 30-minutes to work through the prompts during each day of the challenge should end the week with thirty days (or more!) or social media content.
And… I plan to repackage this system as a paid product later this year. As a participant in the challenge you get free and early access!
